Abstract
Inline ozone concentration measurement using a visible absorption method (Vis-OM) was developed and experimented. An orange LED emitted light at a wavelength of 605 nm was used as the light source of the absorption cell. The principle of measurement is based on visible light absorption in Chappius band at wavelength 605 nm. Beer-Lambert's law was used to calculate the ozone concentration. The Vis-OM system is stable, long lifetime and simple fabrication. The results on the ozone concentration measurements over a wide range of 0-180 g/m3 obtained from the Vis-OM system are in good agreement with those obtained from a commercial ozone monitor using UV absorption method (UV-OM). ฉ 2015 Elsevier B.V.
