Abstract

This paper described a torque control technique for the torsional vibration in a two mass motor drive system, in which a motor and load are connected via a flexible shaft. The gains of the PID controller can be designed by pole assignment using coefficient diagram method criterion. The simulation results show that the proposed controller improves dynamic performance and suppresses torsional vibration of two-mass resonant system. ฉ 2016 IEEE.
