Abstract

In this paper, an image watermarking method in HSL color model is presented. For watermark embedding, the S component of HSL color model is employed to convey a binary watermark image and the L component is employed to establish the suitable watermark strength in according to a human visual system model. For watermark extraction, the embedded watermark is blindly extracted using the 3ื3 pixels Wiener filter in spatial domain. The results from the experiments demonstrate that our proposed watermarking method performed better, under no attacks and stirmark based attacks from, than the previous methods [6] and [8]. ฉ 2017 IEEE.
