บทคัดย่อ

The synchronous distributed generators (SDGs) significantly impact on the protective devices because of their high fault current contribution. The effects of fault current contribution from SDG can be removed by adjusting current phase angle of inverter-based DGs (IBDGs). This paper proposes modified current phase angle calculation for IBDGs. The proposed current phase angle calculation is carried out without the fixed positive constant value (Δ); hence, the improper current phase angle caused by fixed Δ in the conventional method can be remedied. The current phase angle given from proposed calculation is suitable for different unpredictable fault currents from SDG (Isyn). The effectiveness of the proposed current phase angle calculation is verified with IEEE 33 bus modelled in Matlab/Simulink simulation. In accordance with the simulation results, the proposed current phase angle calculation can clearly eliminate the effects of fault current contribution from SDG. © 2016 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
