บทคัดย่อ

         The objectives of this research were to design and evaluate the quality of theapplication design entitled “ Information about Thai Athletes in Rio-Games 2016” operatingon Android System of MCOT Public Company Limited, and to examine the satisfaction ofthe sampling group toward the design of the application. The research tools consisted ofthe application design, the quality assessment forms for the contents, the media presentation,and the satisfaction questionnaire. The sample population comprised 30 staff members fromThai News department of MCOT Public Company Limited. They were chosen, by usingpurposive sampling method, out of the mass media in the field of sports news and otherrelated areas. They had at least two years of experience.         The research results showed that the quality of the contents was at very good level(X = 4.58 S.D. =0.72). The quality of media presentation was at a good level (X = 4.13S.D. = 0.38). The satisfaction of the sampling group was at a high level (X = 4.34 S.D.=0.66). Therefore, the design of the application entitled “Information about Thai Athletesin Rio-Games 2016” operating on Android System of MCOT Public Company Limited couldbe developed further.
