Abstract

This paper presents a hybrid observer for sensorless interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) drive by combining the observer based on modified voltage model and high frequency (HF) signal injection method. In the proposed sensorless drive system, the state-feedback controller is incorporated. Its gains are optimized by means of linear quadratic regulator (LQR). The simulation results mainly verify the proposed system. ฉ 2016 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
