Abstract

In this paper, we establish a new best proximity point theorem for Roger–Hardy type generalized F-contraction mappings and nonexpansive mappings in complete metric spaces. Also, we give some examples for supporting main results. Moreover, our results improve and extend several results in literature. © 2017, Springer-Verlag Italia S.r.l.
