Abstract

This paper presents a study on a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) emulator based on dynamic model with relative humidity calculation. The dc/dc converter is controlled by using the PEMFC mathematic model to emulate the behavior of PEMFC. The dynamic models of PEMFC have been applied in the controller as well as the calculation of the relative humidity in order to choose the correct state of PEMFC model. A computer simulation is carried out to show the dynamic response of the emulator and validity of the proposed model. ฉ 2017 IEEE.
