Abstract

This paper presents an adjustable speed controller for an uncertain surface-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) based on the H-infinity control theory and Takagi Sugeno fuzzy controller (TS fuzzy). The main issue of this research is to design the controller by just using upper and lower bounds of the SPMSM parameters. The results are shown that the proposed design controller is given a better performance. Fewer errors and faster response than controller designed based on TS fuzzy H-infinity Attenuation method in the terms of SPMSM parameter and unknown noises. In addition, the contribution of this study can be explained into twofold. First, even the amounts of the unknown parameters are increased; it is shown stabilizing control for the system. Second, it is shown that it is possible to systematically assign the robust global stabilizing control. The efficiency of experiment is shown by using the SPMSM at rated power: 3-kW and knowledge only upper and lower bounds of the SPMSM parameters. ฉ 2016 IEEE.
