Abstract

In this paper, effects of mobility on $\kappa-\mu$ generalized fading model is evaluated. The distribution of the mobile nodes is modeled using random waypoint (RWP) model and are free to exhibit three-dimensional network deployment topologies. Closed form expressions for probability density function (PDF), cumulative distribution function (CDF) are derived following a novel approach which also gives flexibility to address varying path losses. Thereby, the performance is analyzed in terms of outage probability (OP). Numerical analysis on the metrics are then performed while obtaining various classical distributions including Nakagami-m and Rician as special cases. ฉ 2018 IEEE.
