Abstract

This paper presents a novel multi-transmitter coil single receiver coil system for inductive power transfer (IPT) applications. The aim is to increase the misalignment tolerance and system efficiency of the conventional single coupled coil system. The viability of the proposed system is validated by the measured results of magnetic coupling coefficient with respect to the horizontal misalignment. The working area can be increased compared with the single symmetry and single asymmetry coupled coil. In addition, the system efficiency at the same output power and horizontal misalignment can be improved. ฉ 2018 IEEE.
