Abstract

This paper proposes a proportional-resonant (PR) control design method by using a convex-concave optimization base on robustness constraints for the current controller of the grid-connected inverter with LC filters. The control objective is to determine a controller for maintaining the stability and performance of the system when grid-impedance variations occur. Simulation studies of the system were carried out using Matlab/Simscape to verify the effectiveness of the controller. The results indicate that the proposed control design outperforms the conventional H8 controller in terms of low-order and robustness. ฉ 2019 The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers - SICE.
