บทคัดย่อ
Globalization affected the world's labor markets and economy, which created new criteria and expectations for the employment of graduates. Engineering graduates are critical for today's global employment market, and in the current conditions, many industries look for engineering graduates who can work in multinational teams without any cross-temporal, geographical, and disciplinary boundaries. However, both engineering industries and universities play a crucial role in guaranteeing the employment of graduates. This study was conducted to gain insights from academia and industry perspectives on the global competencies of engineering graduates. The respondents who took part in this study are among the educational stakeholders and leaders of a Thai university engineering program and multinational Thai companies that are based in Thailand. Overall, the findings of this study highlight the critical global competencies required by global engineering industries as well as the perspectives of many universities of these competencies. © 2020 ACM.
