Abstract
EL device is a kind of light-emitting device that uses AC power in the frequency range of 60-1 kHz, the frequency used is 400 Hz due to its stability in use. So, the researcher has an objective to design and build a driver circuit for EL devices by Class d zero voltage switching series resonance inverter which is a sine wave. When applied voltage 0-150 V, the optimum point of use is in the range of 140-150 V or more than 150V, because it provides a constant light output in the range of 105-110 cd/m2 and has a current size of 0.9-1. mA at size A1 (59.4 cm x 84.1 cm) . the use of a prototype circuit can extend the life of the EL device and the circuit is smaller. It can also open the circuit without the circuit being damaged.
