Abstract
The purpose of this research project was to design, implement, and evaluate the efficiency of CAI in the development of an electronic book by mattayom suksa 5 students. the effectiveness of the project and learner satisfaction were evaluated, and learner achievement using project-based learning activities and CAI were compared with learner achievement in a typical classroom. the sample for the study consisted of 80 mattayom suksa 5 students from Taweethapisek school. The research tools were the lesson plan for project-based learning activities, the CAI, the learning achievement test, and the evaluative questionnaire on learner satisfaction. the statistics utilized for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and a t-test for independent samples. The research results found that the quality of the CAI on content was at the good level (X = 3.53, S.D. =0.57) and multimedia was at the moderate level (X = 3.37, S.D. =0.49). The efficiency of the CAI or E1/E2 was 82.50/85.08. The learning effectiveness between Epost and Epre was increased by 60.25 percent. When the learning achievement between project-based learning activities using CAI and a typical classroom were compared, it was found that the average scores of the CAI group were statistically higher than those of the typical classroom group at the 0.05 level. Overall, learners satisfaction with CAI was at the more level (X = 3.54, S.D. =0.71).
