Abstract
This research applied the IoT (Internet of Things) system in five production lines of metal – spot welding machines to record machine status, the manufactured part name, the required quantity to produce, the number of actual produced parts, the production variance, and machines working time the into a computer database instead of recording those data into a production log book each day. This developed IoT system consists of three parts: collecting data from five welding machines, recording data to file server using NAPOPC program with LabView and exhibiting data on website developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP – Mysql. With this IoT system, the production circumstance of welding process can be instantly reported or monitored online. Production data is updated and displayed every minute on the screen. And the data is more than 95 % accurate,it can reduce the worker's job to record data in this welding production line. For the future work, theses data will be used to analyze overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) of the production.
