The Development of Automatic Control Experimental Kit

Abstract-This research presents the construction and study
of the effectiveness of the experimental kit for practicing
basic PLC system. The research instruments were as
follow: 1) The experimental kit and the experimental
a worksheet, 2) The experimental worksheet design and the
basic PLC system experimental kit. The sample group
were third – year students currently studying for a
bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electric Technology
(B.Tech.), Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology
at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi.
The students tested the automatic control experimental kit
before and after learning to compare the scores before and
after the experiment followed by the worksheet and to
study the effectiveness of automatic control experimental
kit by E1/E2. The results showed that the students
studying with the automatic control experimental kit for
practicing basic PLC system had higher worksheet scores
on after experiment than before experiment significantly
at the level of 0.01. The effectiveness of the basic PLC
system automatic control experimental kit was 82.64/85.14
that means the automatic control experimental kit had the
effective use and students’ learning achievement was
higher.
