Abstract
The objective of this research is to determine the optimum factor in CNC machining process by using 2k factorial experimental design technique to reduce defective products. The results of the experimental analysis found that there were 3 influence factors, cutting speed, cutting feed and cutting tool life. From the statistical analysis of the data at a confidence level of 95 percent, it was found that the optimum factors for the process were 1,000 RPM of cutting speed, 500 mm/min of cutting feed and 10,000 pcs of cutting tool life, can reduce the percentage of defective products from 2.79% to 0.97%
