The purposes of this research were 1) to study mathematics learning achievement after using
learning management by the Storyline approach and Bar Models on word problems of addition and
subtraction, and 2) to study the students' satisfaction after using learning management by the Storyline
approach and Bar Models on word problems of addition and subtraction. A sample was 23 students in
Prathomsuksa 2 at Watratrangsan School, chosen by purposive sampling. The research instruments
consisted of 10 lesson plans on word problems of addition and subtraction for Prathomsuksa 2 using
the Storyline approach and Bar Models, a mathematics achievement test on word problems of addition
and subtraction, and a survey of students' satisfaction with learning management by Storyline approach and Bar Models on word problems of addition and subtraction. The research results found that the
mathematics learning achievement on word problems of addition and subtraction of students after
using the Storyline approach and Bar Models was higher than the 60% criteria at the .05 level of
significance. There is an average score of 8.61 and a standard deviation of 1.41, representing 86.10
percent of the total score. Overall, the satisfaction of students who had learned by using the Storyline
approach and Bar Models on word problems of addition and subtraction was at a high level, with an
average of 4.12 and a standard deviation of 1.00. In every aspect, including content, learning activities,
learning media, and measurement and evaluation, it was found that the students had a high level of
satisfaction in all aspects.
