Abstract
This research aimed to study 1) the level of participation in water resources management, recognition of the value of water resources, knowledge on water resources management, and receiving information sources on water resources management of the people in Rang Bua Sub-district, Chom Bueng District, Ratchaburi province. 2) The relationship between participation in water resource management and the use of water resources management information, the recognition of the value of water resources, the knowledge on the water resources management, and the receiving information sources on the water resources management. 3) Factors influencing participation in water resources management. The samples were 336 households in Rang Bua Sub-district. Chom Bueng District, Ratchaburi Province. The data were collected by using questionnaires. The research findings were as follows: 1) people participated in moderate water resources management, high perceiving on the value of water resources, having moderate knowledge of water resources management and low receiving information sources of water resources management. 2) Water resource perception knowledge and understanding of water resources management were positively correlated with participation in water resource management at statistical significance level of .001 and 3) water resource perception, knowledge on water resources management and water resources management information sharing can predict participation in water resources management by 11.2 percent.
