Abstract
From the third strategic issue of the 20-year national strategic policy (2018 - 2037) on human resource development and capacity building, Thailand's main goal is to reform the learning process in response to changes in the 21st century; (1) Developing skills for the 21st century (2) Transforming the role of "teacher" to become a new era teacher (3) Optimizing the educational management system at all levels (4) Developing a lifelong learning system (5) Establishing a system foundation support for learning using digital platforms. The reforms mentioned above aim to enable learners to have four key attributes; Literate Thais, Happy Thais, Smart Thais, and Active Thai Citizens are the source of curricula development from Standards-based Curriculum to Competency-Based Curriculum.
In order to respond to learning process reform approaches in response to changes in the 21st century, this research project aims to create a prototype curriculum in the form of Micro-credentials to develop science and math teachers at the high school level. This project intends to develop a prototype curriculum to develop teachers. That is a competency-based curriculum analysis and needs assessment of science and math teachers. After that, researchers will develop and create a prototype of a micro-credentials curriculum for training the teachers. In summary, this research project has laid out three research objectives as follows:
1. To analyze the competency-based curriculum and assess the needs to become a high school science and mathematics teacher who can manage learning according to the competency-based curriculum.
2. To create a prototype to develop high school science and mathematics teachers into learning management according to a competency-based curriculum
3. To assess and monitor the results of using the prototype.
