Self-healing Motorcycle Tread for the Airless High Modulus Tires

This work aims to produce the self-healing tire tread with airless tire structure. The slef-healing was fabricated from the addtion of 2 different condictive carbon-based filler. After the proper filler concentration was achieved relating the mechanical and dynamic mechanical properties under the chosen temeprature, time and pressure, attachemnt of self-healng with the airless tire strucutre prodiced from extremely high natural rubber strength due to the combination with high amount of carbon black and also the thermoplastic material. Therefore, prototype of new airless tire with self-healing ability will be carried out using the internal mixer and two-roll mill.
