Abstract
There is still a very small number of hearing-impaired children in Thailand. Includes books that provide basic astronomy knowledge on the subject. Today's world and universe are not very responsive to the learning of children with hearing impairments. Since books are difficult to understand and uninteresting, there is an idea to create and develop books with augmented reality technology. About The World and the Universe to support learning for hearing-impaired children, The book is designed with a modern and supportive approach to the hearing impaired. Augmented reality (AR) functions used in conjunction with applications, when scanned with books that are internally illustrated with content, appear as model 3D planets and have buttons that can open sign language lectures that explain the content easily and allow learners to learn on their own To attract the attention of learners who are hearing impaired children. There are also learning review games, answering questions that allow hearing impaired children learn anywhere and enjoy learning. Nowadays, the introduction of technological advancements has helped to fix Thailand's education system during the COVID-19 pandemic, where all students have to adapt and study online. Therefore, technology-enabled teaching materials are important to help promote and encourage their role in organizing learning activities in the online classroom (Charoen Phuvijit, 2021) by applying augmented reality (AR) technology to teaching and learning so that learners can learn and interact with teaching materials.
For example, students can interact with visual, video, and audio media, so it's easy for them to learn on their own right at home because augmented reality (AR) technology offers a variety of functions. It's easy to understand by visualizing objects in 3D, illustrating realistic content, and interpolating content in a game-style way, making it even more interesting. Shugart, 2019) with the following objectives: 1. To design and develop augmented reality technology books that are used in conjunction with applications with sign language lectures in tandem with 3D models on the world and universe to support learning for hearing-impaired children. 2. To assess the quality of augmented reality technology books used in conjunction with applications, including the understanding of content, the world, and the universe to support learning for hearing-impaired children. 3. To assess the satisfaction of hearing-impaired children with augmented reality technology books used in conjunction with applications, including their understanding of the content, the world, and the universe to support learning for hearing-impaired children.
