Development of a course on the application of fat and oil technology for cosmetics through a training workshop: Basic lipsticks production for public to develop entrepreneurship and promote lifelong learning.

          The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) have announced the policy and strategy in education for manpower in the 21st century by developing manpower skills (reskill, upskill, or new skills), entrepreneurial mindset, and promoting lifelong learning. This research proposal has a concept based on applying knowledge and expertise in the lipid and technology field for application in cosmetics to develop a curriculum on the topic "Training workshops: Basic lipsticks production to develop entrepreneurs and promote lifelong learning". The outcome-based program will be used as a model for curriculum design. The curriculum, after being designed, will apply to 3 groups of trainees, which are high school and university students, and the general public. The learning outcomes of trainees will be analyzed in terms of measuring and assessing learning and evaluating the quality and achievement of research operations to be able to achieve the trainees’ demands. The expected outputs of this research are 1 manuscript, a prototype of a curriculum for skill development and learning, 45 certificated trainees, and 1 post-doctoral researcher who is an expert in lipid technology in cosmetics. The knowledge gained from this research will be used as a model to study the application of other lipid technology knowledge to design the next curriculum.
