Abstract
The study’s objectives were to optimize inventory management by solving the problem of overstocked inventory and reducing inventory management time. During data collection, it was found that there are 2 main problems with case studies. The first problem is that the warehouse does not have enough storage space for goods and materials to meet the production needs, and the second problem is that a large amount of non-moving work is being kept, resulting in less warehouse space. Therefore, there is no sorting by product and material value result in search Disbursement takes quite a lot of time. From such problems, the researcher applied ABC analysis in conjunction with Visual Control and 5S activities to improve the warehouse areas to reduce the distance and working time, including product turnover according to the theory of First-In-First-Out. After improving the performance, the distance can be reduced by 91.23 meters. which accounts for 43.23% of the working distance, and the duration can be reduced by 47.94 minutes. which accounts for 34.74% of the working time.
