Abstract

This research aimed to study (1 ) the level of belief in self-efficacy and (2 ) the self-esteem of new-generation teachers under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (VEC) in machine mechanics, production technology, and welding technology in Thailand. (3) To compare the level of belief in self-efficacy. (4) To compare the level of self-esteem.To the success of new generation teachers under VEC, machine mechanics, production technology, and welding technology in Thailand. The research was conducted using validated tools with a confidence value of 0.85, and data were collected from a sample of 186 people by selecting specifically. The research results showed that the group of new teachers with the highest level of belief in self-efficacy would be able to succeed in the teacher service exam with an average of 3 8 .9 5 %, and the results of the chi-square analysis showed that new teachers with high self-efficacy in the use of information technology would be able to succeed in the teacher service examination faster than the statistical significance at the .0 5 level and the comparative analysis of self-esteem levels were found that most of them had self-esteem in the standard, 87.63 %, high self-esteem, 8.07 %, and low self-esteem, 4 .3 0 %. Positive self-esteem did not affect the success of the new group of teachers. However, only the negative question had a statistically significant correlation at the .05 level with success in the teacher service examination for teaching assistant positions.
