Abstract

Developing a computer-assisted instruction lesson on Algorithms for Grade 4 students has the objectives to 1) develop a computer-assisted instruction lesson on Algorithms for Grade 4 students 2) find the quality of computer-assisted instruction lessons. Teach the subject of Algorithms for Grade 4 students to have efficiency according to the criteria of 80/80 and 3) compare the learning achievement before and after learning the subject of Algorithms, Technology (Computational Science) for primary school students. Study year 4. In this study, the sample group was 4th grade students at Nong Yo Du Nai Witthaya School. Under the Amnat Charoen Primary Educational Service Area Office, 20 people were selected from a purposive sampling. The tools used to collect data included: 1) Computer assisted instruction lessons on algorithms for primary school students. Year 4 2) Media quality assessment form by experts and 3) Pre-class and post-class test on Algorithms, a multiple choice test with 4 options, totaling 30 questions. Statistics used in data analysis include 1) Basic statistics, including the average. standard deviation and t-test. 2) Statistics used to find the quality of the tool include content validity (IOC), difficulty value. Discriminant power confidence value Analysis of lesson effectiveness (E1/E2) and 3) Statistics used in hypothesis testing include T – test dependent.
The results of the research found that 1) The results of the development of computer assisted instruction lessons on Algorithms for Grade 4 students have consistent content and cover the desired learning objectives. As a result, students will learn and understand the content of algorithms more and be able to apply the knowledge gained to solve various problems. in daily life efficiently and in sequence and causing students to have higher academic achievement according to the learning objectives set. 2) The computer-aided instruction lesson on Algorithms for Grade 4 students has an efficiency of 80.67/83.17, which is a high value. than the assumption set at 80/80 and 3) the academic achievement of students learning with computer-assisted instruction lessons on Algorithms for Grade 4 students after learning is higher than before learning. with an average score of = 24.95, S.D.=1.36, which has higher achievement than before studying with an average score of = 12.35, S.D.=1.60, with statistical significance at the .05 level.
