Abstract
The objectives of this project were to (1) Explore the need for blended learning in the development of a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. (2) Implement blended learning using a three-dimensional modeling program to enhance result-oriented learning. (3) Evaluate the quality of blended learning in the development of a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. (4) Assess the outcomes of a sample group’s work in blended learning using a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. (5) Study the learning effectiveness of a sample group in blended learning using a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. and (6) Examine the satisfaction level of a sample group towards blended learning for result-oriented learning. The sample group consists of 30 second-year undergraduate students studying in the first semester of the academic year 2023 at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, selected through purposive sampling. The tools used in this project were (1) Survey questionnaire on the needs of the sample group in blended learning using a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. (2) Blended learning activities using a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. (3) Evaluation questionnaire on the content and management quality of blended learning and media in learning management. (4) Evaluation questionnaire on the outcomes of the sample group’s work in blended learning using a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. (5) Evaluation questionnaire on the learning performance of the sample group in blended learning using a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. and (6) Satisfaction evaluation questionnaire of the sample group towards blended learning using a three-dimensional modeling program for result-oriented learning. The study found that the sample group had a basic understanding of Blender software, with an average of 53.00%. This indicates a relatively low level of knowledge. However, the sample group expressed a high interest in learning about creating simple characters in Blender, with an average of 90.00%. Based on these findings, the researchers implemented a blended learning approach, focusing on outcome-oriented learning, and sought expert evaluations on content quality and learning management. The overall quality assessment of the content and learning management was very good (Mean = 4.85, SD = 0.36). The overall assessment of media quality was also very good (Mean = 4.77, SD = 0.47). The overall assessment of the sample group’s work was also very good (Mean=17.08, SD = 2.61). The study also found that the sample group’s post-learning exam scores were significantly higher than their pre-learning exam scores at a statistical significance level of .05. The overall satisfaction with the study was rated as very high (Mean= 4.83, SD = 0.42).
