Abstract
The current education system has changed teaching to welcome learning in the 21st century. It emphasizes on learners development of knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to succeed in confronting real social and economic, and the learners who have the capacity to be good citizens will create sustainability for the country and the overall social system. This research focuses on studying the format and efficiency of project-based learning management of the Science-Based Technology School project. which has been piloted in colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission and this project has nearby universities as mentors providing advice and assistance in carrying out the project. The curriculum of Science-Based Technology School has the same basic subjects as the general high school curriculum and focuses on providing students with skills or learning processes in the content of mathematics, science, and engineering subjects including the development of intensive operational skills that rely on projects that combine content and practical skills. It can apply project-based integrated learning principles that are linked to problems or realities in the main business sector of Thailand. The study found that the highlight of the project is the organization of activities parallel to the curriculum that aim to promote competencies, but the weak point is the learning management style of teachers that focuses on content and only certain skills, causing a lack of building or inculcating 21st century skills in learners. Institution should focus on integration and classroom research.
