Abstract
A resource for studying the mechanical properties of welds and hot system components in an ASTM A36 operating system. General welding machines for GMAW systems by operating system such as welding current. Frequency Driver and Arc Welding Continuously connect to the flat port without having to cut the work site. Weld joints were made to prepare test specimens to test for weld alignment with ASTM E8 standards and equilibrium structures. The results of the experiment are summarized as follows. The appropriate variable that gives the maximum tensile strength of 416 MPa is the welding wire feeding speed of 400 mm/min. The welding current is 110 amperes and the arc voltage is 18 volts. Inspection of the macrostructure has good melting and penetration characteristics. And examination of the microstructure of the weld line in the hot impact area found that It has a fine pearlite microstructure that is densely distributed. Including the formation of pearlite in a round shape. Due to suitable welding conditions, sufficient amount of heat enters the workpiece, resulting in a high cooling rate, resulting in some pearlite coalescing in a spherical shape. As a result, the material has good mechanical properties.
