Abstract
The process of designing and developing learning media is part of conveying content to students. From the current concept of promoting and developing creative media, it has resulted in pushing for soft power in the field of design and tourism support in Thailand. This can be seen from the potential of creating a variety of media such as movie media, art toys, etc.
The purpose of this research is to study the creation of public relations media in the form of animation. Promote learning related to learning about dinosaurs discovered in Thailand. Case study of data from the Phu Wiang Dinosaur Museum Wiang Kao District Khon Kaen Province Through designs inspired by field trips in the area. By analyze and filter information. Responding to the perception needs of the target group of students between the ages of 8-12 years studying in grades 2-6 in schools in Khon Kaen Province.
Therefore, the researcher created a short animation, 3 minutes, presenting art media that reflects the identity of the Isaan locality in the form of illustrations. Tell imaginary stories with locations (Storytelling) and interesting knowledge about the importance of the Geology Museum as a learning media outside the classroom. Promote the sustainability of local Isaan culture With experts in content and design involved in analyzing key information, principles and design concepts (Content Design).
The results obtained from this research found that the evaluation of media usage was good. Presentation has appropriate content, character design The scenes in the story are very interesting. The story can be conveyed at a good level, the sound and background music are interesting, the movement of the images is appropriate for the target group. The work is valuable and can be further developed.
