Abstract
All isolated compounds were assessed for their cytotoxicity against the A549, DU145, and MCF-7 cell lines using the MTT method [13]. After a 24-hour incubation period, compound 13 displayed significant cytotoxicity against A549 cancer cells, with an IC50 value of 310 μM (cisplatin, IC50 = 373 μM). Subsequently, after a 72-h incubation period, compound 13 exhibited the highest cytotoxicity towards A549 cancer cells, with an IC50 value of 132 μM. On the other hand, compound 1 showed the highest cytotoxicity against DU145 cancer cells, with an IC50 value of 105 μM.
