Abstract
The objective of the Development of a Semi-Automatic Control of Rice Transplant Tractor System. This project aims to design and install a semi-automatic controlling system of rice transplanter. To find value for investment. The Rice Transplant using 6 horsepower gasoline engine, and Independent crawler-wheel drive system. That Rice Transplant Tractor can move forward and backward by gearbox control, and the mechanical embroidery kits. The semi-automatic control system comprised a remote control unit that sent signal using radio wave. It can be controlled within less than 130 maters in length, voltage of battery not lower than 11 volts. According to the results of the experiment, the turning radius and speed of the rice transplant tractor are close to the original condition, the average turning radius is 0.95 meters and the average speed of 31 m/min, and the system has a payback period of 150 days per year. (0.06 year)
