Abstract
The objective of this research is to study and compare the cost of each type of joint. and the time it takes to construct between wet joints and dry joints. Second, to compare price differences to increased building space to study the effects of delays in construction. The buildings in the case study were in two projects involving 2-storey single houses. The first studied construction with wet joints from buildings with a usable area of 650 m2 and 720 m2. The next studied construction with dry joints from buildings with a usable area of 235 m2 and 320 m2. Each type of building will collect 3 sample data After using a total of 4 methods: observation, photography, interviewing and taking notes on the form that the researcher has prepared. For the results of the study, it was found that Wet joints have increased in cost and decreased from dry joints as follows, one-sided joints increased by 16.49%, two-sided joints increased by 0.06%, three-sided joints decreased by 20.92%, and four-sided joints decreased by 39.10 %. When comparing the amount of usable space achieved in one day, wet joint construction decreased from dry joint construction by 23.96 %. - 30.62%. The total construction cost of both forms of construction will decrease accordinglyincrease in usable space Construction with wet joints has a different usable area of 70 m2. The number of cost differences decreased by 5.30 %. Construction with dry joints has a different usable area of 85 m2. The cost difference is 1.70 %. Construction delays affect costs for employees increased by 2.02% - 2.63% and expenditure for mechanization increased by 2.63% - 4.56%.
