Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to create a motion graphic that promotes
learning about Light Painting photography techniques, 2) to assess the quality of the motion
graphic about Photography with Light Painting technique by experts, 3) to evaluate the
satisfaction toward the motion graphic about Photography with Light Painting technique by
sample, 4) to compare the learning outcomes of before and after using a motion graphic about
Photography with Light Painting technique. The sample group used in the research consists of
66 first-year students from Applied Computer Science-Multimedia Program, Faculty of
Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. The
Statistic used in this research were mean, standard deviation and t-test.
The research results found that 1) From the creation of a motion graphic about Light
Painting photography techniques, the motion graphics media has interesting content to follow
and makes the subjects easier to understand. 2) The media quality was at a very good level
(x􀴤 = 4.71, S.D. = 0.46) 3) The satisfaction toward the media was at a very high level (x􀴤 = 4.52,
S.D. = 0.62) 4) When compare the pre-test and post-test scores using the motion graphic about
Light Painting photography techniques, it was found that the average pre-test score was 4.11
points and the average post-test score was 8.30 points, it was found that the post-test score
was higher than the pre-test scores at the significant level 0.05.
