Development of Teaching Media of Computer and Maintenance Course for Vocational Certificate Level

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop a teaching media for the Computer
and Maintenance Course at Vocational Certificate Level, 2) to determine the effectiveness of
the teaching media for the Computer and Maintenance Course at Vocational Certificate Level,
3) to compare learning achievement before and after using the teaching media for Computer
and Maintenance Course, and 4) to investigate the satisfaction of students towards the
teaching media for Computer and Maintenance Course.
The research instruments consisted of 1) the teaching media for the Computer and
Maintenance Course, 2) an achievement test to assess learning outcomes, and 3) a
satisfaction questionnaire toward the teaching media. The sample group consisted of 30
students (Purposive Sampling) enrolled in Computer and Maintenance Course in Business
Computer Program at Chonburi Vocational College.
The research results found that 1) the effectiveness of the teaching media for the
Computer and Maintenance Course had an effectiveness of 82.67/83.56, which was higher
than the standard of 80/80, 2) when comparing the pre-test and post-test scores, the posttest
scores was significantly higher than pre-test scores at the 0.05 level, and 3) the overall
satisfaction of students toward the teaching media was at a very high level, with mean =
4.51, and standard deviation=0.54.
