Abstract
The objectives of this research are: 1) To develop effective online learning media based on a Metaverse format, 2) To compare the learning outcomes of students using the Metaverse-based online learning media with those using traditional learning media, and 3) To study the satisfaction of students using the Metaverse-based online learning media. This study focuses directly on the population, which consists of 54 first-year vocational students in the Industrial Mechanics department at Chonburi Technical College, enrolled in the Precision Measurement Subjects for the first semester of the academic year 2567. The population is divided into two groups: 1) a control group of 27 students, and 2) an experimental group of 27 students. The research tools used include: 1) the online learning media based on the Metaverse format for the Precision Measurement Subjects, 2) an evaluation form for the Metaverse-based online learning media for the Precision Measurement Subjects, 3) a test to assess learning achievement, and 4) a satisfaction survey for students using the Metaverse-based learning media. The results of the research show:The online learning media based on the Metaverse format for the Precision Measurement Subjects was developed. The overall quality of the learning media was rated at the highest level, (X ̅ = 4.54 , S.D.= 0.32) A comparison of learning outcomes after studying between the two groups revealed that the experimental group had significantly higher learning achievement than the control group, with a statistical significance level of 0.05.The study of student satisfaction using the Metaverse-based online learning media indicated that students were highly satisfied overall, (X ̅ = 4.50 , S.D. = 0.76) In conclusion, the Metaverse-based online learning media enhances students' learning outcomes and is practically applicable.
