Abstract

This research aims to develop a learning model using a Sudoku board game to enhance analytical thinking skills in Computer Science classes for Grade 9 students. The sample group consisted of 29 Grade 9 students from the second semester of the 2024 academic year at Wat Phutthabucha School, selected through purposive sampling. The research is an experimental study conducted in a classroom setting. The research instruments included a learning management plan utilizing the Sudoku board game, a quality assessment form for the learning plan, an analytical thinking ability test, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The results that: 1) The developed learning model using the Sudoku board game was based on Kaji Maki, which consists of 15 techniques organized into 3 stages: Stage 1: Learning the fundamentals of Sudoku Stage 2: Developing logical thinking skills Stage 3: Summarizing and applying the knowledge. 2)The quality of the learning management plan using the Sudoku board game was rated at an excellent level (mean = 5.00, standard deviation = 0.00). 3) Students’ analytical thinking ability after learning was at a high level (mean = 13.65, standard deviation = 3.42). 4) The students' satisfaction with the learning model  using the Sudoku board game was at the highest level (mean = 4.74, standard deviation = 0.61).
