Abstract
The dynamic behavior of ballastless tracks is considered a crucial factor affecting the stability of the railway system. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the dynamic behaviour of ballastless tracks subjected to rigid wheel loads at different speeds. A 3D finite element model of ballastless track was developed using the Finite Element software ABAQUS. Then, the dynamic behaviour and the dynamic response of ballastless track under wheel load at various speeds up to the high-speed train are investigated. The results show that the vertical displacement of rail at various train speed indicates a trend of increasing displacement with increasing train velocity. The stress analysis results in the concrete base show that at speeds of 50, 150 and 250 km/h, the maximum vertical stresses are 0.330 MPa, 0.290 MPa, and 0.327 MPa, respectively. The results of this study can be used as a guideline for railway development, providing critical information for the construction, design and maintenance of railway systems to enhance their efficiency.
