Abstract

This research aimed to (1) develop and evaluate a set of digital media on sexual threats
for elementary students by applying the design thinking process, (2) compare learning achievement before and after using the media, (3) assess learners’ satisfaction. Data were
collected from the participants were 40 fourth-grade students from Bangkhuntien Suksa
School in the first semester of the 2022 academic year by using simple random sampling. Data
collection involved pre– and post-tests, expert evaluations, and learner questionnaires. Data
were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and a dependent
t-test. The results revealed that (1) the digital media package consisted of three formats:
infographic, motion graphic, and educational game. The overall content quality was rated at
a very good level (𝑥̅̅ = 4.70, S.D. = 0.46), and the media quality was rated at a good level
(𝑥̅ = 4.49, S.D. = 0.50). (2) The students’ post-test scores were significantly higher than their
pre-test scores at the .05 level and, (3) learners’ satisfaction with the digital media was at the
highest level (𝑥̅ = 4.53, S.D. = 0.55).
