บทคัดย่อ

This manuscript explains the SVEI Training Model, an innovative framework designed to improve the career decision-making skills of first-year vocational education students. Facing economic uncertainty and a strong desire for meaningful work, Generation Z learners in technical fields need career guidance that goes beyond traditional information- sharing methods. The SVEI model features a four-step, technology-enhanced process: (1) Self-Appraisal, using validated psychometric tools to build basic self-awareness; (2) Vocational Training, employing project-based inquiry and digital resources for informed exploration; (3) Ecosystem Learning, incorporating Virtual Field Trips and social media to provide contextual understanding; and (4) Immersive Learning, using Virtual Reality simulations based on Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle to offer safe, repeatable mastery experiences. The model is based on Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT). The goal is to systematically boost career decision-making self- efficacy by addressing the barriers identified in Gati's taxonomy. By combining self-reflection and experiential learning, the SVEI model offers a structured approach that enables students to align their career choices with their skills and values, thereby preparing them for long-term success and fulfillment in their future careers.
