Abstract
In the era of digital transformation, Education 5.0 emphasizes learner-centered approaches and raises expectations for service quality and learning resource management. This study applied the Design Thinking process to develop a web application for laboratory booking and equipment borrowing, with three objectives: (1) evaluate the application’s quality, (2) assess user satisfaction, and (3) propose guidelines for applying Design Thinking in web application development. A total of 182 university students voluntarily participated. The findings showed that the overall quality of the application was rated at a good level (M = 4.23, SD = 0.50), while user satisfaction reached the highest level (M = 4.50, SD = 0.51). The results confirmed that Design Thinking, compared with traditional methods, ensures accuracy, aligns with user needs, reduces errors, and enhances the user experience. This study highlights the potential of Design Thinking to improve the efficiency of learning resource management in higher education and demonstrates its role as a user-centered methodology that fosters technological and educational innovation.
