บทคัดย่อ
One of the most important outcomes of industrial pre-service teacher training is the ability of such personnel to do research and apply the gained knowledge to further conduct research during professional apprenticeship. In the past, the offered educational research course focused on theory of research methodology and evaluated the learning achievement only via an achievement test. It was noted nevertheless that the students were not able to effectively apply the knowledge to conduct their own research. It is therefore of interest to adapt the new learning process to allow the students to have more practice in research methodology through the research advisory system, which consists of 5 steps viz. 1) identifying research goal, 2) learning the principles, 3) connecting the principles with related researches, 4) conducting the research, and 5) evaluating the research ability and further skill development. The proposed study was conducted with 41 third year students of the five-year program within the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, FIET, KMUTT; the study lasted 15 weeks long. Authentic evaluation of the results was made while formative evaluation was conducted until the students completed the study program. It was found that the research ability of the students was at the level of “good” (87.50%) and they were satisfied with the learning model at the level of “much”. The students were also eager to learn.
