Abstract

It is known that among disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, STEM is not sufficient for building up innovation for the today and future world. Arts and Humanities is added up as a distinct mean of creativity to become STEAM. In Thailand as well as developing country has hardly seen to implement either in school or unschooling activity. We develop 'STEAM Fab Model' consists of STEAM enrichment activities leading up to the fab challenge. We demonstrated the model using social robotics making as a tool for converging multidisciplinary knowledges. Apart from computer programming and electronic gadgets, enrichment of arts, culture, and social were implemented. We analyze student's reflection and social robots created during the activity to understand how students learn and converge multidisciplinary knowledges. ฉ 2017 IEEE.
