Abstract
The objectives of this research are Developing learning skills and checking students' understanding by using interactive simulation media about Series electrical circuit, parallel electrical circuit and series-parallel electrical circuit. The target of this research is the 85 students from 2nd year students in electrical engineering major, department of Electrical Technology Education: Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology. Who was enroll in Electrical Engineering Experiment Course 1, the 1st Semester, Academic Year 2021. The instrument in the research. Interactive Virtual Reality. This research focuses on exploring the understand the teaching of DC circuits on the properties of series, parallel and series-parallel circuits by using virtual interactive models. The results of this study show that students who study by using a virtual interactive model about Series, parallel, and series-parallel circuit properties are gives the positive feedback on the construction of DC circuits and show the result to the students of the current flow and the value of virtual voltage and make the students more understand the properties of series, parallel and series-parallel circuits. The teaching materials that can be applied in situations COVID 19 as well and from examining the understanding of students through worksheets and interviews by analyzing the responses from the satisfaction assessment form for the virtual interactive model. The result is clearly affects of using virtual interactive models and actually promote the learning of students on the subject Series, parallel and series-parallel circuit properties. Most of the students agreed with the interactive virtual model in class, stating that it allows students to create concepts in electrical circuits, it can be seen clearly and able to apply them in applied courses.
