Abstract
The objectives of this project were to construct and determine the quality of an online learning packages based on STEM Education with the use of 5E inquiry on Physics and Brake system, and to study student’s learning progress after learning with the package.
The learning package consists of 3 modules; module 1. moment of force, module 2. Pascal’s law and module 3. compressibility. They were designed based on STEM education. The 5E inquiry-based lesson plans were designed to cooperate with the learning package. The quality of the learning package in very good level ( = 4.51 S.D. = 0.36). The learning package were implemented with the target groups, who were 14 of the first year students at department of Mechanical Technology Education, academic year 2020. The study showed that the student’s learning progress of module 1., module 2. and module 3. were a Low gain, Medium gain, High gain level, respectively. The average class normalized gain were in a Medium gain (=0.51).
