Abstract

This study is aimed to develop the competency standard of facilitator in work integrated learning. The operation as follows; 1. to analyze the competency facilitator in work integrated learning by using the document related to the competency standard of facilitator by group of 23 expert focus group discussion. The second operation, assessing the competency of facilitator was conducted by group of 21 expert focus group which created a competency assessment tool. Then, the consistency between the tool and the purpose or content of the performance assessment was examined by three experts. The exam had an average compliance index of 0.87. The tools were examined by 45 teachers with purposive sampling specific selection who under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission participated in the project to expand and upgrade the management of dual vocational education to the standard in the eastern region and Bangkok an instrument performance with a confidence factor of 0.77. The result showed that the key function of the facilitator were as follows; 1. preparing learners prior to learning in the workplace, 2. learning management to develop learners and 3) measure and scale the learning outcome of the students. In addition, the total of units of competencies for facilitator was 28 units which was generic competency for 12 units and functional competency for 16 units. The assessment tool for competency facilitator evaluation was multiple-choice test based on the performance criteria of 35 competency standards.
