Abstract
The purpose of this research were to create, to determine the quality of the training modules of Electric Motorcycle Subject upon Competency-Based Curriculum and to evaluate student’s learning gain after completed the program. The training modules (TM) divide into 3 units, which are Battery system, Traction motor system and Electric control system. To design the modules, the competencies framework was analyzed by functional analysis. The quality of the modules had been evaluated by five professionals. The average rating of TM is very good ( u = 4.77, = 0.12). Then assessing learning gain, the TM were used with learner of 12 students who enrolled the 30-hour short course in the Electric Motorcycle Mechanic program, Thonburi Polytechnic College. The results showed that the average class normalized gain were in a medium gain ( = 0.44). The practical skill assessment of the competence were 96.23%, which passed the competence criteria of 60%.
