Abstract
The objectives of this research were to develop a model of promoting, mentoring and controlling in educational professions and code of ethics of persons engaged in educational professions. This research used a descriptive approach by both quantitative and qualitative dataobtained from questionnaires interviews and documentation. Respondents were 400 persons engaged in educational professions of the educational departments from 11 groups. The research findings were as follows.The model of promoting, mentoring and controlling in educational professions and code of ethics of persons engaged in educational professions consisted of 3 parts:Part 1 comprised the rationale of the model,including 1) Promoting the honor of educational profession2) praising the venerable persons in educational profession3) creating discipline, faith, and love for their profession4) Being responsibility, and 5)living on sufficiency economy philosophy;Part 2 included the model principles consistingof 1) promoting practitioners in educational profession to follow the professional code of ethics in education, 2) mentoring and controlling the professional code of ethics for those in educational profession. Part 3 covered the model process,including 1) pre-professional process, 2) inductionprocess,3) process after leaving the profession,andPart 4implemented model,consistingof conditions and recommendationsformodel implementation.
