Abstract

This research is the development of the learning process of Vocational certificate students by using problem base learning whit the STEM education model for the Metrology curse, purpose for 1) develop learning activities by using a problem-based model to integrate with STEM in detailed measurement courses. Vernier Caliper story 2) to compare the student's achievement 3) to assess learning skills resulting from the development of learning activities by using problem-based patterns integrated with all 4 STEM studies, namely, collaboration skills; problem solving skills creative skills and presentation skills and 4) to study the students' satisfaction with learning activities. The sample group was the 1st year vocational certificate students, Department of Factory Mechanics. Kamphaeng Phet Technical College 20 students enrolled in the detailed measurement course, which were obtained using a simple sample selection method. The research plan design model used in the experiment was one-group with pre- and post-tests. The statistics used for data collection and analysis of research results were mean, standard deviation and t-test (dependent samples). 4.70 standard deviation of 0.38 is the most favorable level. and from the results of the research, it was found that The students' learning achievement after school was significantly higher than before at the .05 level. that happened to the students the most The students' self-assessment was problem-solving skills. The mean was 4.80, the standard deviation was 0.41, and the teacher's assessment was problem-solving skills. They had a mean of 4.65, a standard deviation of 0.59, and collaborative skills. The mean was 4.65 and the standard deviation was 0.49. The students were satisfied with the learning activities. At the highest level, with a mean of 4.65 standard deviation of 0.16, it was concluded that the learning activities of vocational students using the problem model as a base for integration with STEM for detailed measurement Vernier Caliper story Good quality and can be used in practice.
